    Is there something wrong with me being with a Ukrainian?
    My family, my great-grandmother, cared for and protected British POWs during WWII.
    We were taught to be kind to foreigners, you know?
    Ukrainians are suffering the consequences of war right now, so I didn’t hesitate to protect her and continue to support Ukraine.
    Ever since I was little, I’ve heard stories about when the daughter of a British POW came to my great-grandmother’s house to thank her, and I wanted to be that kind of person.
