It takes less than 15 minutes to make. The ingredients cost less than $11 to make. Let me show you how I make my sausage pasta. Starting out with a pound of sausage. So, I’m using the mild Italian. You can use whatever flavor, spicy, sweet, whatever you want to use, use it. I got my groceries at Walmart, so the prices are going to match up with Walmart. This was 3.87. I’ve got some water boiling in another pan, getting ready for my pasta. I’m going to take my sausage and add it into a skillet. I’m using one of these meat crumbler things. I don’t know the formal name for it, but you can use a wooden spoon, a spatula, whatever you have. And we’re just going to go ahead and crumble the sausage and brown it. My water is boiling. I’m going to go ahead and add in a pound of pasta. This was 98 cents. All right, my sausage is almost done browning. I wanted to show you guys the remaining ingredients. I’ve got a 6 oz bag of parmesan cheese, a 10 oz bag of fresh spinach, and then a container of heavy cream. Also, we’re going to need some salt, pepper, and garlic powder, which again, I never include seasonings on these, but salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Adding in the whole bag of spinach. It will cook down. I got to find a lid for that. You see how all that spinach cooked down? And I think I forgot to mention, don’t drain the drippings from the sausage. Leave it all in there because that’s what’s going to give so much flavor and also help the spinach cook down. Adding in about half my bag of parmesan and a cup of that heavy cream. Okay, now is when we’re going to add our little seasoning trio, as I like to call it, to taste. So, I’ve got some garlic powder, some pepper. Actually, instead of the pink salt, I’m going to use this cuz that’s a little bit coarse, some salt. Now, I’ve also made this by adding in some tomato paste. You could do that if you wanted to, but I also like it this way, too. I think I like it this way better. I drained my pasta. I’m adding in my sauce. Adding in the other half of the parmesan. and continue cooking for about a minute or until the cheese is fully melted. Serving it up. It is so good. It is so easy. It takes less than 15 minutes to make, but I will put the grocery list right here on screen for you guys. If you want to see more of these, let me know because I’ve got a ton of recipes like

  1. Yes, more recipes please! My husband passed away last year, after 26 years together. And now it’s just me and my dog. So I need recipe ideas. Because I get stuck eating the same three or four things because they’re familiar and I know I like them. But so far, the ones I’ve seen that you posted, I’m all in LoL!

  6. Omg. My family has asked for this over and over!! Easy, delicious, quick, and economical. Thank you!!

  7. I know it might seem extra to some people, but if you run some water over the spoon before you use it to break up the meat it’ll help it not stick

  8. I love your practical pasta recipes. I made your italian sausage kale soup for my family and we loved it so much that we made it again a couple days later

  9. This is why I don't take people serious when they say it's impossible to feed your family with today's grocery prices. Then you look at all the processed sh!t they buy. Go and buy REAL food and learn to cook. You can feed a family of 4 for $300 a week.
