Sorry about the shitty chives today. The chives from the store were really bad,

I was also trying a different cutting technique than what I’ve been using for 39 days, so it’s new and weird for me. I will improve on this cutting technique and get back up to standard, thanks for understanding chefs.

    At this point I don’t know what I’d do if one day nobody could find a single thing wrong and u/KarmaKrazi had to draw an airport because all the planes were grounded.

    If that day ever happens, OP, do you plan to stop at perfect chives or will you start on a new type of produce prep?

    So here’s the running list I have of what needs to be done:
    – Master woodworking to make a perfect cutting board
    – Become a master blade smith
    – Start a hydroponic chive farm to eliminate the sourcing issue
    – Partner with a local agricultural program to engineer the perfect chive for chopping
    – Ensure your living space is perfectly level, so pick up carpentry
    – Choose now which brands you want to officially endorse and partner with

    This could turn into a TV show. Maybe get Alton Brown and the mythbuster guys? Guy Fieri is also a good hang. Definitely not Bobby Flay though.

    Hey u/F1exican, may I  suggest that after the initial cut you **leave your claw hand holding the chives**, lay the knife down, discard the uneven ends with the hand you just freed, pick the knife back up and start cutting? this way, you keep the chives lined up evenly all the time!

    This is a tip from the quilting world (I’m not chef, so feel free to ignore if not applicable)
