It’s an investment up front, but it’s not nearly as hard to fill as you would think. Take turkeys during this time of year. I got a free one for shopping at my primary store. Bought a 2nd one for $0.79/lb. Not the rock bottom cheapest you can get, but great compared to most meat prices today.

The problem can be you turn into a hoarder of food. I’m at risk of getting to that point…but as long as you eat what you buy and you’re not saving 3 or more year old food then you’re doing okay. Just be careful.

Never too much freezer space. 😄 But yes, you really do need a system.

How long does that last? Always have to consider risk of power outage unless you have a generator.

Where was this post a year ago.

Not that I have this issue. No, definitely not at all.
