If the topic is freezer staples, there’s really no discussion without including frozen pizza. One of the few foods that tastes just as good in its cheapest, simplest form as it does straight from a wood-fired oven made by your favorite chef, pizza will always be an elite mealtime staple no matter how it’s prepared.

These days, frozen pizza has far outgrown its reputation for being second-best to your local pizza joint. Take Lettieri Foods’ Monte Pollino Pizza Napoletana Margherita, for example—recently released in a convenient 3-count box and blessing Costco shelves earlier this year. This family-owned importer of exclusive Italian food and wine is well-known for its classic pizza creations, and after an initial rollout, the 3-count freezer find is finally back in select warehouses for a cool $15.99.

Monte Pollino Pizza Napoletana Margherita 3-Count, $15.99 at Costco

Shoppers first got a taste of this new Costco offering back in April, and the announcement was met with plenty of enthusiasm online. In a post shared by Lettieri Foods at the time, fans were equally congratulatory about the brand’s milestone and eager to get their hands on a box. So when @costcochika spotted it back in stock at her local store, her immediate reaction was to spread the good news to fellow fans.

“Attention pizza lovers, Costco said dinner is SERVED,” @costcochika captioned her post. “This 3-count Margherita pizza pack is giving fresh, cheesy, restaurant-level perfection straight from your oven. Perfect for hosting or having a girls night in! Or easy dinner ideas with your loved ones.”

Why This Pizza Stands Out in the Freezer Aisle

Lettieri Foods’ Monte Pollino Pizza Napoletana Margherita takes cues from classic margherita-style pizza, featuring bright green basil, juicy Italian tomatoes from Campania and fior di latte mozzarella. Its dough is even made with Type 00 flour, which is crafted for higher protein content. The box also shares a bit of history, noting that the name “margherita,” meaning “daisy” in Italian, refers both to the flower shape in which the mozzarella was traditionally arranged and to Margherita of Savoy, in whose honor the pizza was named.

While supplies last, shoppers can grab a 46.5-ounce box containing three 15.5-ounce pies and instantly elevate dinner night with one simple purchase. And at $16 for all three, it’s a better deal than any local pizza shop—plus, most pies are already waiting for you in the freezer aisle.

“I bought this as soon as I saw it! They are amazing,” one fan wrote in response to @costcochika’s post.

If you head over to Lettieri Foods’ post back in April, you’ll find plenty more comments echoing the same sentiment. So be sure to grab a box on your next warehouse run because finds like this tend to sell out fast. That being said, if you have the space, stock up while you can.
