Has anyone had ice cream that is rice pudding flavor? Was it good? If you haven’t, do you think I could make rice pudding ice cream out of this Kozy Shack? If so, how would you go about it because I feel like you’d have to stir it every hour or so and maybe add some heavy cream?? Thoughts?

  1. I’m all for short cuts, I’d add vanilla ice cream to the Kozy Shack

Haven’t tried it, but Van Leeuwen has a mango sticky rice flavor- you could check that out!

I have absolutely had rice pudding (w raisins) ice cream. Not sure of the brand but maybe BLVD, 5+ years ago? I think Cajou may have also made an Arroz con Leche flavor.

Speaking of, try to find Arroz con Leche paletas. They probably get you what you’re looking for.

I remember Helados Mexico making an arroz con leche popsicle about 20 years ago that even had the raisins in it. Freaking amazing! I wonder if they still have it…. If they do, you can probably find it in a Mexican grocery store or La Michocana.

Would it be any good if it was frozen?

If you do one of those no churn ice cream recipes, and instead of sweetened condensed milk, you can add the rice pudding. Could be good!

Trader Joe’s Horchata ice cream tastes a lot like rice pudding to me. It’s a seasonal flavor though.
