Theres a LOT of sweet potatoes in the back. Like a lot. All from Walmart except the 10lb of onions are from Sam's. Gonna mostly roast everything but I'm excited to try Spaghetti squash for the first time!! We also have bell peppers, broccoli, and cabbage in the fridge. Not included in price. Being a veggie lover is such a bonus! We usually just add ground turkey or similar 🙂

The seasonal prices is definitely what helped! Zuchinni, Yellow Squash, and Sweet Potatoes are in season so they’re great size, taste and PRICE. We got like 10 sweet potatoes for FOUR DOLLARS!! $4!!! All the Yellow Squash was also $4!! They charged us the more expensive Squash for the Zuchinni so that price is definitely not correct but it is what it is.

What in God’s name are you planning with all the sweet potatoes?

Great haul you got there! I spend most my money on vegetables and they never go to waste!

I’m doing the same for dinner tonight! Roasting some delicata squash sliced into half rings and sweet potatoes I cubed. Olive oil, salt, pepper, and then light dashes of cumin and cinnamon. We’ll see how it tastes. Never done it this way before.

Ooh spaghetti squash is so good! I love to shred it like noodles and pour marinara sauce on it like a spaghetti substitute. U can also roast it when hollow and then stuff it w whatever fillings u want for a second meal!
