  1. Looks awesome…how do you cook the meatballs? Bake, fry, let cook entirely in the sauce?

    For my mother’s recipe (I’m 60, she’s been gone a long time), we fry them, then drop them in. Nice firm shell.

    ###Patrick’s Sunday Sauce
    Ingredients:

    – 2 cans (28oz) San Marzanos tomato

    – 2 (6oz) cans of tomato paste

    – 1 yellow onion

    – 3 ribs of celery

    – 6 garlic cloves

    – 4 tbsp olive oil

    – 1.5 tsp onion powder

    – 1 tsp garlic powder

    – 1.5 tsp dried oregano

    – 6-8 fresh basil leaves

    – Salt n pepper to taste

    Ingredients:

    – 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend)
    – 2 large eggs
    – 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
    – 1 cup whole milk
    – ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
    – 1 medium onion, grated (w/ juice)
    – 4 cloves of minced garlic
    – 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
    – 2 tsp Kosher Salt
    – 1 top ground black pepper
    – 1 tsp dried oregano

    – Olive Oil

    Mix ingredients for meatballs in large bowl. Form meatballs size of golf balls. Set aside. Mix sauce ingredients in large Cook the meatballs in large ceramic brasier (on low) covered in sauce for about 45min to hour.
