Make labneh at home from greek yogurt!

Labneh is a strained yogurt common in Middle Eastern cuisine, that has a tangy, cheese-like flavor making it perfect for spreads, dips, marinades, breads, & so much more!

it’s super simple:

1. Set up a bowl with a colander (with enough height for the liquid to strain) and a cheesecloth (I bought mine from Amazon!)

2. Pour your greek yogurt in the cheesecloth and twist it up for the water to strain out.

3. Place in the fridge for 24 hours.

4. Enjoy!! Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Today we’re making lemon from Greek yogurt at home cuz it’s so easy to do. Just need a colander with a bowl to catch the water that strains underneath and then place a cheesecloth above the colander and then pour your Greek yogurt right in the center so that it strains through the cheesecloth through the colander and the liquid catches in the bowl. Just twist up your cheesecloth and then you can place everything in the fridge for a day to strain overnight. After a day in the fridge, you’re left with a little bit of liquid that strains out of the yogurt and the thickest lemon that you can use for toast, spreads, or whatever else you want. Pop it back in a container for up to 1 week and taste how delicious and tangy it
