Preparing Thanksgiving dinner can be an enormous hassle, involving spending all day in the kitchen keeping track of different cooking times for sides and the turkey to ensure that everything is warm and ready to go on the table. You can remove much of the stress and get to just enjoy your feast by picking up a ready-made meal from a Chicago restaurant or even a version where most of the work is done for you and you just have to roast the bird, filling the kitchen with delicious smells.
There are also options for brunch or dinner out so you don’t have to deal with the cleanup at home. Choose from a buffet feast, tasting menu or a la carte meal. You can also find options for one or two if you want a low-key way to enjoy some festive food without the big gathering. You’ll find traditional dishes and plenty of spins on the classics including vegan, Indian, Greek and Italian meals.
However you like to celebrate Thanksgiving, you can be thankful for these 70 restaurants for making it easy.
All meals are offered on Nov. 27 unless otherwise specified.
