Was craving Jenis pistachio fun but it was out of stock…these were right next to it so I gave it a shot. Same price, total disappointment. I don't believe the carton saying it feeds it's cows grass…more like cardboard fed. tastes like a grainy milk icee?? shards of ice with every bite killing my tongue and soul simultaneously.
Has anyone else tried this brand?

that’s shocking. i’m a huge fan of alec’s!! everything i’ve tried of theirs has been fantastic
I have not had this brand with the olive oil. It does not sound appealing. I love their peanut butter honey and the banana date shake flavors though.
Ive had it before, the store definitely let it melt then refreeze because the pints i had were perfectly smooth (didnt like the flavor but thats not a quality issue)
This sounds, and *looks* like it melted and refroze. I’m sorry you were so disappointed, no one wants icy ice cream so I understand.
Alec’s is my favorite brand of ice cream. I eat their peanut butter fudge honeycomb probably 5 days a week at least. I’m actually eating it right now as I type this.
I’m personally not a fan of this brand
I’m so confused. It’s 10/10 but do NOT recommend? lol
I’ve had multiple pints from this brand, and none of them have been good. The descriptions sound amazing, but I’m always disappointed when I dive in.
Only good flavor is the PB one, definitely overpriced hype word ice cream.
10/10 means you do recommend lol
oh I love Alec’s, this sounds right up my alley. sounds like you got an old pint. I haven’t been able to find it since moving to the midwest. The peanut butter honeycomb, strawberry, and date shake flavors are the bomb.
really? i absolutely love this brand and this one is my favorite. maybe that pint was in a bad condition or really just a matter of preference….
I also tried this brand once with a similar issue; under a top layer of normal ice cream was ice shards from melting and refreezing. There may be a weak point in their cold chain.
