They actually have fatal as part of the name. 🙂 This is a local farmers market by the way.

    I grew these in the backyard one year, they’re hot as a habanero and have very thin skins with minimal seeds & pith. It does look like they are warning you with a “FATAL!” warning but that’s just the name of the pepper.

    $7 is a great deal for that amount of Fatali’s if you ask me.

  4. it’s “fatalii” an African pepper from the Congo and is my favorite pepper.

    Fatalii are my favorite! They are absolutely delicious. I would buy those for that price anytime I could. I’m jealous.

    Yeah, well, maybe my palate is not very sophisticated; I never got the “bright, fruity or citrusy” part, just HOT!! Need to check the seed stash, haven’t grown Fatalii in a few years…

    I’ve recently had a couple.of sauces made with Fatali peppers and they were both incredible. One was peach and fatali, the other mango and they were incredible. I’ve never had a fresh one though.
