Tried new coal for pork belly burnt ends.

Needles to say, will stick to one brand from now on.

It made a lot of sparks, then I set my Kamado as usual, and instead of 110 c, it got to 180 real quick:D

Tried to salvage by closing bottom vent to 3 mm, and it still produced a looot of heat. My dumb ass should take off the meat and finish in oven

Anyway, just wanted to share my BURNED ends.:D

Did you managed to completely waste a grill session?

    Thoughts and prayers.

What type of coal did you use this time

If you don’t get your temp stable BEFORE putting meat on the grate, this shit can happen. Rookie mistake, don’t blame charcoal.
