My grandpa used to own a Jewish deli. Imo the Reuben is the best sandwich.

Just missing the sour cream for the latkes! Reuben looks amazing.

Looks good. Pastrami could have used a bit more cure time.

I’ve always stated that the Reuben has one of highest flavor to effort ratios of any food made. 5 ingredients that can quickly be slapped together for an amazing result.

Reuben’s just do something to me. Physically. In the pants.

Help! That man stole my marble rye!

Love a Reuben, and it’s cold-served cousin the corned beef special.

They are most definitely a contender, I used to make these on the regular for meetings at the house with work colleagues. Even have my own custom Reubin sauce!
I would do them more just for me if now I didn’t have to go miles just to be able to get a wee bit of corned beef from a butcher shop…

No, you’re right the Reuben is amazing, former Brooklyn-ite, living in the south…missing a good deli

Is your buddy saluting the finished product??? 😂

Could use a cel-ray to wash it down. Looks great! I want to know more about your grandpa’s delicatessen.

It’s definitely a classic sandwich. No reason to rank, you can eat them all champ.

    To me, it’s beautiful. Reubenesque.

From a former artisan baker, the only thing that is missing here is real rye bread (please don’t hate me for that).

  14. Curious. How do you feel about Mustard on your sandwich? And if yes, what kind?

    I want one NOW!
I’ll also take some matzo ball soup and a few knishes with that on the side.
