Join the team at El Kabron for a special pintxo and wine tasting event at their city centre restaurant. On Thursday 29 May, guests can enjoy seven courses of traditional pintxos and wines, on a tasting journey inspired by the bustling taverns in northern Spain. The expertly curated menu, lead by head chef Rubén Del Villar, will be served up alongside a selection of Spanish wines, chosen by the El Kabron sommelier.
Pronounced ‘pin-chos’, pintxos are a much-loved staple of Spanish cuisine, having originated from the Basque Country. Traditionally, pintxos typically consist of ingredients skewered onto a slice of bread with a toothpick, though El Kabron have adapted this to include an array of dishes for their guests’ enjoyment. From the simple yet delicious Gilda, to more elaborate creations like beef cheeks or tortilla de patata, they capture the essence of Spanish social dining, where good food and conversation go hand-in-hand.
