There’s just something about a really good sandwich. One that’s warm, messy, and full of soul. Today, I wanted to make that kind of sandwich. I load it all into that toasted chabata, spoon on a little extra sauce, which has that torn basil. I shave a little palan, and then finish with a drizzle of olive oil and fresh cracked black pepper. It’s messy. It’s hearty. It’s the kind of dish you need two hands for, one where you have to get stuck in. It starts with the meatballs. soft, herby, and packed with flavor. I roll them up and sear them until they’ve got that golden crust. The kind that tells you there’s something good happening in a pan. Then comes the sauce. Onions melting and sweating down. Cherry tomatoes bursting open. Garlic hitting the heat just long enough to perfume that whole kitchen. The tomatoes simmer down into something rich and velvety, a sauce that clings to everything it touches. When the meatballs go back in, they soak up that goodness, tender, juicy, and coated in this deep red marinara that just begs to be mopped up with Red.

Why does God say come to Him with all your heart as with the faith of child?
Because He is God, we, are human.
God sees all humanity as and like 5 year old children, in His sight. If you can't see yourself in the same way with God, imperfect and unprideful, and you can't believe on Him confessing that you are a sinner in need of His salvation,… you are condemned already…you will not enter Heaven. Your sin of pride will take you to an eternal Hell fire. Children, have no pride!
