From Rome to Milan and beyond, many American and Italian restaurants whip up Thanksgiving meals to celebrate the holiday of gratitude.
With the Thanksgiving holiday coming up on November 27th, restaurants across the country have begun sharing their special menus, and seats are booking up fast.
While it’s possible to prepare your own Thanksgiving meal at home, it’s not always easy to source the ingredients you need, and they can be more pricey than back home. (And some of us simply don’t want to deal with the hassle of cooking and cleaning up).
Thankfully, there are options if you want to dine out for the holiday meal here in Italy.
The trend began with American establishments like Hard Rock Cafe serving a traditional spread. Increasingly, however, Italian restaurants have been serving their take on Thanksgiving, either sticking to traditional flavours or infusing an Italian touch.
Most of these places serve a set menu on Thanksgiving evening. Some, however, extend the offer dates to encompass the Friday or even the weekend following the holiday.
These are some of the places serving festive Thanksgiving meals this year. There are usually limited options available, so book as soon as you can to make sure there’s space.
Rome
