Was looking at the egg genius and thought I'd try aftermarket at half the price. Anyone else tried it? I'm hoping to get it hooked up today or tomorrow and do a butt see how it works.

Inkbird is Chinese but good. I have a lot of their products. Buy on AliExpress to get the best price.

I have an inkbird fan and love mine not sure if mine is the same model. Mine has 4 probes i run it off a portable battery with a solar panel I ran it 20 hours and was only down 40% battery.

I’ve used this for 15 hour cooks and 3 hour cooks. No issues, I’m not sure how anyone can justify the crazy prices of the competitors products. Assuming this lasts a while of course.
Anyone been running theirs for a few years?

I have one of their 4 probe bluetooth temperature probe things that works pretty good. I have strongly considered this one when my BBQube fan controller finely dies, but that thing is at least 6 years oldish and I bought it used and it just keeps going.

I had one and selected it to work on the my 5ghz router. It worked great with 4 probs until I left it out in a light rain. App scale was odd but usable.

Yep, just used mine for a 14hr cook 2 weekends ago. Have used it on 4 cooks so far over the last 6 months with no complaints other than the app can some time choose to not display historical data for an ongoing cook on some of the views.

Pretty sure they are pretty gd but I’ve read users report they lose app support on their older products. So it might go brick on u
