While the sandwich is probably fine, I lived in Alabama for 28 years and I’d wager that whoever named it this has never even visited the state

On a kind of serious note, if grilled cheese is not just cheese in bread with some sort of fat for cooking then it gets real confusing as to what a grilled cheese is. If I tell you I want a grilled cheese it could be anything.

It’s not grilled cheese, it’s roughly eggs in a basket. Which I happen to love and would eat with enthusiasm. Still not grilled cheese though.
