Oatmeal Christmas Rounds and Brown Sugar Almond Bars
My mom used to make these when I was a child. They were good and I finally found the recipe, amongst others, going page by page through her old magazines. The almond bars are also good.

I’m trying to get together all my mom’s recipes that are worth keeping together before she dies since I figure it will be easier now than when she’s no longer here. Slowly, I’m amassing them. This is one of my favorite cookie recipes growing up along with the cream cheese whipped shortbread, which I still have to find and cherry almond balls that are very close to Mexican wedding cookies.
