Tampa Bay Italian mainstay Bavaro’s is adding brunch to its resume.
The company that started in 2009 as Florida’s first Neopolitan pizzeria (so it claims), now has six locations and a farmer’s market popup. Its latest venture is Café Bavaro, a grab-and-go café that opened earlier this month next to its location at 468 Mandalay Ave., Clearwater.
The menu includes cannoli lattes, lemon ricotta pancakes with mascarpone whipped cream and amaretto maple syrup, and breakfast sandwiches like the Tomozza with prosciutto and heirloom tomato.
The shop is open exclusively on weekends from 8 a.m.-noon. For updates and more info, visit cafebavaro.com.
