    I do this with pickled red onions.

    My kids look at me weird, but they haven’t tried it yet. Even better if you put some jalapeño slices in the brine.

    I’ve tried the pickled red onions on a peanut butter sandwich and it was pretty good. But maybe not worth the looks others gave me( my gf and cat).
