An award-winning Italian pizzerias is making its Welsh debut. Bosco Pizzeria, known for its authentic Italian cooking and standout Neapolitan-style pizzas, has confirmed it will open its brand-new Cardiff restaurant on Sunday 8 December.
The High Street site — formerly a kitchen shop next to Corner Coffee has undergone a multi-million-pound transformation, creating a stylish new home for the much-loved brand’s first venture outside England. Spread over two floors, the Cardiff restaurant blends classic Italian warmth with modern design, bringing a fresh yet timeless feel to the historic street.
Bosco is rooted in a love of simple, flavour-first Italian cuisine. Guests can expect its signature pizzas, handmade pastas, cured meats and a menu full of traditional side dishes and they source the best ingredients they can get from markets in Milan and Naples and always champion other local producers where we can. The restaurant aims to offer the kind of casual, confident Italian dining that’s earned Bosco a loyal following and national praise.
The upstairs floor doubles as a private hire space, offering 50 covers, its own bar and soaring ceilings , which would be ideal for celebrations, long lunches and exclusive events. Downstairs, the restaurant is designed to be the sort of spot where you can perch and grab some Cichetti, a glass of wine, a spritz or a cocktail during the day, or settle in for a long meal with friends before heading to a show in the city.
