Hello and happy Thanksgiving. I am so excited to make this really easy, speedy side dish. And in the process, I’m going to show you one of my favorite things I’ve ever had in the kitchen. It is this KitchenAid green rice cooker. It’s used in my house seriously five four five nights a week. I love feral and I’m going to dry toast it to give it an extra nutty flavor. Open this. Doesn’t do everything. This takes literally 3 hours for your No, it would be ridiculous for me to feed you now, honey. Just got to keep it moving. If I were not a pretend cook and if I were a real cook, I would do this thing. It’s going to weigh the amount. So, you can eyeball your rice. All of the guesswork goes away. Beans and lentils. No grains. Rolled oats, steel cut oats, quinoa, soaked probi. It’s going in dry. I’m just using water. Regular nature. There it goes. This little baby knows how much water to use based on the weight of whatever greens, rice, or beans you put in there. And it’s always right. Okay. Now on with the rest of them. [Music] What should we do about this? The KitchenAid grain and race cooker has been doing its job. It sensed how much we had in there. It dispensed the right amount of water and it’s been simmering. Sense, dispenses. Wait. It senses, dispenses, and simmers. This is the number one best holiday present on the all these autuminal colors. I think it’s going to be great for more the Thanksgiving. Now, this calls for olives as well, and you can add them. I don’t like olives. That’s just me. [Music] Vim. So good.
