DUBLIN, Ohio (WCMH) — Panini Opa, a locally owned Mediterranean restaurant, plans to open at North Market Bridge Park this month, the market announced.
The restaurant, known for Greek-inspired dishes and casual service, is renovating its space at 6750 Longshore St. and expects to open just before Thanksgiving. The expansion marks Panini Opa’s first location outside its longtime site near Sawmill and Bethel roads.

The restaurant was founded by Orian Trifoni, who opened Greek Corner in 2004 before debuting Panini Opa in 2011. The new location will be operated by Klestor Qose and Daniel Trifoni, the founder’s son and general manager of the original restaurant.

“We are thrilled for Panini Opa to be a part of the North Market in Bridge Park,” Qose and Trifoni said in a joint statement. “Our team is excited to join this vibrant community of local vendors and share our passion for American/Mediterranean cuisine.”
The menu will include shareable appetizers such as spanakopita, tzatziki, spicy feta dip and calamari, along with handheld options including an Italian panini, ahi tuna steak sandwich, crispy chicken sandwich, burgers and a lobster and shrimp panini. Soups and salads, including avgolemono, Caesar and steak salad, will also be offered.

Rick Harrison Wolfe, executive director and CEO of the North Market Development Authority, said the restaurant is a strong addition to the market’s mix of independent vendors.
“Their menu and culinary expertise are an excellent fit for our community,” Wolfe said. “Orian and his team have shaped some of central Ohio’s most-loved restaurants, and we’re proud to support the launch of this next chapter.”
