First time growing carrots! Did I pull them too early?

First time growing carrots, I don’t remember when I planted the seeds. But the leaves were looking quite bushy so I decided to pull 2 to see how they were, are they ready to eat? Or should I leave the rest longer?

My last lot I planted all split, but I think my dirt wasn’t loose enough
