Hi everyone! First time Weber owner here.

My partner and I recently scored this Weber Spirit E-310 off the side of the road for free because the ignition was broken and the base cabinet/wheels had rusted off. I've very easily fixed up the ignition and given it a deep clean so it works perfectly.

Does anyone know if it is possible to replace just the base of the grill, or does anyone have any suggestions? Based in New Zealand if that's helpful at all 🙂

The bottom base plate is quite expensive if you want to get the OEM. I’ve seen people just make them out of wood.
