had a longgg tailgate to attend. Needed to keep protein high and fats low to fit calories from the other food I’d be eating. I cooked 1lb of 99/1 ground turkey with a package of riced cauliflower, and then seasoned that with taco seasoning.
Then i through a package of frozen broccoli in there that i had in the freezer with no intention of using, bc why not, right? Then i threw some G Hughes sweet chili sauce on top for taste and put it in the fridge for meal prep
Then the NEXT day, i said you know what? Why not just bring half a lb of shredded lettuce with me for even more volume. And I’ll throw in some extra sauce for taste. Through the lettuce in their right before I was about to eat it (so it didn’t get mushy) and it came out incredible! I was honestly just planning to eat for fuel, not for taste with this meal but the g Hughes sweet chili sauce definitely worked overtime! I had people telling me how good that looked/ smelled and didn’t even know what it was haha.
It’s over 2.5lbs of food (3lbs if you wanted to include sauce but I don’t count it, especially considering how runny it is) that kept me full for the entire day. Had a few treats, and some other food later in the day and then came home and had a nice piece of salmon for more healthy fats. Definitely an accidental success but I thought I’d share here!
