UPPER MICHIGAN (WLUC) – Feeding America West Michigan is continuing to help families experiencing food insecurity this week.

The organization’s mobile food pantry will be set up in Menominee and Newberry.

The first pantry will be at the Marinette/Menominee YMCA at 1600 West Drive in Menominee. Food will be distributed starting at 10 a.m. Central Time.

The second pantry will be at the GCCP Dunlap Center at 6545 M-123 in Newberry. Volunteers will start distributing food there at 2 p.m. Eastern time.

Stand-ins can get food for families who are unable to attend Feeding America West Michigan mobile food pantry events. Attendees will be asked when they arrive for their name, address and the number of households they’re picking food up for.

Both pantries are drive-thru events. Attendees are asked to stay in their vehicle and have enough room in their trunk or back seat for food to be put directly inside.
