I got a two piece meal ( one side ) , drink , and peach mango pie. Around $11 from what I can remember. The spicy fried chicken is actually spicy 🌶️🥵
The chicken in general is super crunchy and juicy. Everything was delicious.

Jolibee is bad unless you grew up with it and even then you have to tell yourself the nausea afterwards is just part of the experience.
The peach mango pie is the real star of the show.

I tell this story often because I think of it every time I go to Jollibee. The first time I ever went to one was in Queens when my husband and I were dating. He’s Filipino and was excited for me to try it. We were second and line and overheard the guys in front of us ordering with the very young cashier. They asked her “do you take Apple Pay?” And she smiled brightly and said, in the thickest Filipino accent, “no sir but we do have peach mango!”

No joke had Jollibee last night too lol. Haven’t had it in a while and it hit the spot. Mobile order pick up was 40 minutes late but the location was *slammed*. Shout out to the Alhambra crew for hustling!

i wish they had one of these in west la. i’m part filipino, was even born in manila, but I had never had jolibee until maybe 3 years ago (and im in my 40s….). The couple times i’ve been it just reminds you of some satisfying though not expensive random weekday meal at home. I’ve actually never had the chicken!, but the spaghetti with its random sausages and banana ketchup and palabok just make you feel like a little kid again
Peach mango pie is so good.
Their location near me discontinued the palabok fiesta – which was why I went there in the first place – and I’m devastated.
