CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – A new upscale Italian restaurant is making its Cincinnati debut this week in a historic building.
Al Lupo will take up residence in the former Rookwood Pottery Food & Beverage building at 1077 Celestial St. in Mount Adams. Chef and owner Roberto Peloni told Cincinnati Business Courier he plans on opening the 5,000-square-foot restaurant for limited reservations Nov. 20. He wants to run a soft opening schedule over the holiday season before officially announcing the grand opening in early January 2026.
Peloni and his unnamed business partners invested around $400,000 in the buildout after signing a 10-year lease with landlord Rookwood Realty earlier this year. Construction started in June, and the restaurant was initially slated to open in September.
