This crispy shredded beef recipe is everything. Let me show you how to make it. First things first, we’re going to slice up a carrot. Going to thinly slice it into strips. You could also use red bell pepper for this, but I like the bite of a carrot. Finally, mince a few cloves of garlic. Now, set that aside. I have some top round that’s already been thinly sliced by my butcher. You can also use sirloin or flank steak. I’m going to slice them into really thin strips, something like this. I’m going to place it all into a big bowl. Tenderize the beef with a little baking soda. Season it with soy sauce, shaing wine or mirin, a little bit of sesame oil. We’re going to do one egg white. Oh no, I just broke the yolk. Oops. It happens and it’s not the end of the world. Lastly, I’m going to add a little bit of white pepper. Give it a good mix until everything is evenly coated. Now, set it aside and let it marinate for 15 minutes. Now, let’s work on the sauce. Add soy sauce. Dark soy sauce for color. I always say this, but if you don’t have it, do not substitute it for regular soy sauce. it’s going to be too salty. Rice vinegar. I somehow ran out of ketchup, but luckily I got some packets. And if you don’t like ketchup, this recipe is not for you. We’re also going to add honey to make it nice and sticky. And of course, for that sugary balance, I’m going to add some crushed red peppers to make it a little spicy. And lastly, a little cornstarch. Give it a good mix. Now, let’s fry up the beef. We’re going to coat the marinated beef in some cornstarch. And yes, it’s just plain cornstarch. Make sure there’s a good coating on it so it gets nice and crispy. Shake off any excess. and then add it into the fryer. We’re going to work in batches. Fry them for about 3 to 4 minutes or until they get golden and crispy. Once it looks something like this, we’re going to strain it, then work on the next batch. Now, let’s put everything together. Add oil to your walk. Add garlic. Give it a quick sauté. Then add the sauce. Once the sauce gets nice and thick, we’re going to add the carrots. Just give it a quick toss. Then, we’re going to add the fried beef. Give it a really good toss. Once everything is evenly coated, it’s ready to eat. This looks so good. Let me show you. Oh my goodness. ASMR. Seriously, you got to go make this right now.

  2. ohhh gurl this looks amazing and your presented in a way that was slow enough to understand. New sub thank you

  3. This would take me forever to make. I always look at recipes that seem easy and quick and it ends up taking me like 3 hours. 😂 I dunno what I do wrong.

  4. She didn't say it specifically but she did cut the meat against the grain which makes it much easier to chew.

  5. Could you do a video on all the different soys you guys use. I got a Asian book, and someone put in out for charity. Im gutted as it was so easy to follow. I miss that book 😭😅 could be to much to ask lol

  6. Can you do a video on what kind of wok that is and also how you truly go about cooking the different stages? I love the reels but tbh, for instance, going from frying the beef, to the next camera shot being a clean wok is something i always struggle with. Do you really set the beef aside and then dump oil somewhere and clean the pot then reheat while the beef just sits on the side?

  7. Hmmm
Looks great, probably tastes so too but Asian food takes a lot of resources to prepare. It's like u burn as many calories as u consume. Same with Indian food. Too many stages, too many herbs and spices…. etc….

  8. If you dont like ketchup it is for you i hate ketchup but it doesnt taste like it most english american chinese takeaway food uses stuff like ketchup and orange squash
