Christmas Dinner on Dec. 8 at the Jefferson County Community and Senior Center

The Jefferson County Community and Senior Center will have a Christmas Dinner for veterans and first responders at noon on Dec. 8.

The event is designed to “honor our veterans and first responders and give thanks to our amazing community for your continued support this past year,” said Krista Acevedo, director of the center.

Acevedo said all are welcome to the event.

“One of my priorities this first year has been making sure everyone feels like they belong here. This Christmas Dinner is a reflection of that mission,” said Acevedo. “It brings together Veterans, First Responders, families, neighbors, and community members — all sitting at one table, celebrating together.”
