Having steaks tonight and I’d love to use some of my arbol peppers. Does anyone have a favorite steak style sauce?

Maybe a chimichurri?

I could be wrong, but I believe these are “sport” chile peppers. A less potent cousin of the “chile de árbol” chile pepper.

Toss in olive oil, salt and pepper. Do the same things with some spring or green onions. Char them on the grill. Careful – onions cook quick. Minced it all together. Mix in a splash of vinegar or citrus. Eat with steak.

The fresh Arbol I have seen in stores are more slender than those. The plant should have tree-like characteristics, hence the name Arbol. You could just have very healthy Arbol peppers.
