Jul’s, the acclaimed Mediterranean restaurant and bar, will arrive in London’s West End, bringing its contemporary take on the Mediterranean way of living to 11 Waterloo Place, in early 2026. Set within a former bank near St James’s, in a building rich in heritage and history, Jul’s London reimagines its grand architecture with a design that is both theatrical and intimate, defined by marble, mosaic floors, scorched wood, and an evocative play of light and shadow. A Mediterranean spirit refined, elevated and reimagined, Jul’s brings its elegant dishes and sensory sips crafted with passion to London for the first time. Sophisticated but relaxed, Jul’s merges different culinary traditions to create an innovative cuisine that is bold, sun-kissed and authentic.

Jul’s was first born in Ibiza in 2018, created by Chef Christos Fotos, Jem Akyuz, and his son Ilhan, a trio that shares a passion for authentic, experience-led hospitality. The group also includes Humain by Jul’s in Athens, a culinary atelier known for its experimental approach and creative precision. Now, with London as its new home, Jul’s continues its evolution while staying true to the essence that defines it: a place where food, people, and atmosphere form one seamless experience.
At Jul’s London, Chef Christos Fotos presents a cuisine that is Greek-inspired yet unmistakably Mediterranean, rooted in simplicity, generosity, and modern craft. It is not Greek, nor fusion, but a contemporary expression of Mediterranean cooking and living. Seasonality and locality shape the menu, with collaborations with farms around London ensuring that ingredients reflect the rhythm of nature. Dishes like giouvetsi, flatbread with slow-cooked lamb, and grilled fish over open fire, capture the essence of the Mediterranean table: familiar, soulful, and elegantly reimagined.
Wine holds a central role at Jul’s. A 6.5-metre-tall glass wine wall, running the height of the restaurant’s ground level, becomes a design statement, a living part of the interior. The list itself balances heritage and innovation, featuring both classic appellations and boutique producers who champion sustainability, as well as biodynamic and natural winemaking.
Conceived as an open bar laboratory, No. 11 extends Jul’s drink philosophy below ground level. Here, Bar Directors Vasilis Sgouromallis and Dimitris Karapanos experiment with distillation and infusion, crafting cocktails that reflect the kitchen’s flavour profile. From the early evening, the bar offers a relaxed setting for discovery and conversation, before evolving into a more dynamic, intimate space from 10pm onwards, becoming the late-night counterpart of Jul’s London.
Jul’s London is a celebration of contrasts: urban and emotional, bold and understated. It is the next chapter in a story that began on a Balearic island and now continues in one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
