Watch the price is going to change like three more times tomorrow. That’s the really annoying thing about Amazon. I had a drink in my cart yesterday, the price went down this morning and then literally four hours later it went back up?!

Yup that’s what they do sometimes. Spike the price up so that they can put it on “sale” and you end up only saving a buck or 2.
I’ve been watching the K6 grinders and they went up 30 bucks day before they went on sale. And with 20% off new price you only save $5. Total scam, but I guess something is better than nothing.

At that price point you’re getting pretty close to a Bambino anyway.

This always happens haha

Never buy on black Friday. They raise the prices the week before so they can “put it on sale” for 50% off, bringing it back down to its regular retail price. Become the trend the last few years. It’s scummy af.

Unfortunately, that’s how retail works these days. Too much competition on platforms as well and sales are perpetually “on” every other month. Where I live, Amazon isn’t even in the top 5 of places we shop online.
I always try to know the base price of any item I want, and I buy whenever there’s an alignment of coupons and vouchers (platform + credit card + promo code + freebies)) which spreads out the total discount more than any popular “sale” period.

new to online shopping? cute, everywhere they do that, illegal af but its never enforced at all lmao, always watch prices on things you are interested in before buying into the fomo

You haven’t waited for Black Friday yet though, have you? And FWIW, I’m seeing it for $170.99 🤷♂️

Brings to mind the $20k dollar telescope that was just over up on Vine for review a few times in the last three weeks and the MSRP of the telescope itself is actually about $1,300.
Turns out that those who got it at the ETV price (estimated tax value) will pay 10 times more in taxes than if they would have bought it outright. SMH. (A Vine reviewer pays depending on their state and Fed taxes, up to 30% or more for the reviewed items that they review, those that read “Vine Customer Review of a Free Product”)
For the last few years, nothing really has been reasonably priced for Prime Day or Black Friday.
I hate to admit you get better deals from that four letter T competitor site than from the Bezos store but then you risk installing spyware, so you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
I recommend OfferUp. I bought a De’Longhi Stilosa brand new for $28 there and the MSRP is originally $100 and Lance did a comparison review of it with a LMLM and they both made comparable espresso with a DF64 Gen2.
Black Friday is nothing but a gimmick now. Save your money and buy any day of the year when you see actual sales and if you don’t buy from such sites, buy directly from the manufacturer if you can help it, often times they offer better discounts because they have to pay Amazon or other sites commission for their listings. It’s more affordable for them to give you a discount directly to their sites because even with a discount they make a better profit which is why product prices get uber inflated around these dates.

Delonghi stilosa is $99 on Amazon and Target for those interested. And it seems based on reviews that it is a far more reliable machine than casabrews.

I think because of the tarrifs this is gonna be a expensive black Friday. I bet we see alot of Americans not being able to afford anything.
ryanl442
I was looking at the same one. Are these carabrews machines any good?

Everyone should use camel camel camel or something similar to check process before buying on Amazon.

Welcome to Amazon brands. They raise price slowly throughout the year and then drop it back to what it normally is around BFCM but it shows up as a discount.

Dwight: “Through concentration, I can raise and lower my cholesterol at will.”
So, i often make my own spreadsheet to track prices for stuff i want to buy. once a brand raises the price before black friday and then slaps a “sale” tag on it, i basically stop trusting them.

It’s $170 on Amazon for me 🙂

Probably a set up so Black Friday is actually regular ol Friday
