Easy Korean Radish Salad

Ingredients
• 3 cups Korean or daikon radish, julienned
• 1 Tbsp salt
• 2 tsps sugar
• 1.5 Tbsps rice vinegar
• 2 tsps gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
• 2 tsps sesame oil
• 1 green onion, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tsps sesame seeds

Steps:
1. Wash, peel, and julienne the radish.
2. Place radish in a bowl, add salt, and mix well. Let sit for 5 minutes to draw out moisture.
3. Squeeze the radish and drain the liquid.
4. Add sugar, rice vinegar, gochugaru, sesame oil, green onion, garlic, and sesame seeds. Mix well.
5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

  2. Inzwischen weiß man, daß man den Saft des Rettichs nicht weggiessen sollte das man durch das salzen auslöst.Die gesunden Inhaltsoffe des Rettichs gehen dabei verloren. 😢
