Saw 2007 R Lopez de Heredia Viña Gravonia on the menu, at an irresistible price, so had to order it
Unmistakable oxidative notes, but the acidity, freshness, and energy were astonishing for a wine this old.

I snap these up for the cellar whenever I find them, really an amazing and thoughtful white. Have opened one more than once for wine-loving but ignorant friends who had the idea “whites can be fun and refreshing but not interesting”

I got the 2015 off a list for 153 CAD and loved it. Wish I could hunt some down retail but it’s unlikely.
