Here’s a glimpse into one of our more humble (but insanely delicious) sandwiches, the Sausage and Peppers Sando! 🥪
sandwich is starting with Big Ed’s Hogy. Get a little cut down the middle. A little bit of a toast on the bread there. Getting that nice contrast of the soft spread with the crispy center there. Then we’ll start with a mild Italian sausage. We always go the flesh side down. We got peppers, some onions, our salt and pepper mix, and then you get that nice crispy bread. If you could see the sound of the bread. Sauté the peppers and onions just until they get a little bit of color on them, until they soften up just a little bit. Then we get our cheese blend on top of those, which is our four cheese blend. Then we started using a new cheese company here, which is Grande cheese, which is fantastic. Then we get our pesto ioli on the top here. Get some of our parmesan cheese from Grande Cheese Company. A little bit of parsley. And then we get over here to our housemade marinara. Then that goes down on our pogy. Get some of the peppers and onions mixed on top there. Once that cheese is melty, try and get a little bit of a a stack on there. It’s one of the harder sandwiches to plate. It just wants to go all over the place. And there is our sausage and pepper sandwich. But he’s gone.
