I bought a bunch of peppers on discount and they didn't have identifying tags. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They do look a lot like my Big Jims. Could be one of countless New Mexico type chiles or even one of many named or unnamed Mexican heirloom/landrace chiles.

Anaheim/Numex/Hatch/Long Green chiles. There are numerous varieties, some fairly mild, some moderately hot. Big Jim and Joe Parker are a couple popular varieties. When ripe they are often used to make Chile Colorado or dried for chile powder.
