Want to be able to meat meal prep and feed the family. I have three kids and a wife. I’ve heard mixed things about the wifi on these. Leaning towards the Navigator.

    Hey there,

I have the navigator 850 without Wifi and it doesn’t bother me too much, it’s been an awesome purchase so far and the family is really enjoying all the cooks I’ve done.

I recently picked up a Bluetooth thermometer just for convenience.

I feed the family and in-laws, about 6-8 people with room to spare in my 850

Can’t comment too much but I will say I love the WiFi feature on my Traeger. I turn up the temperature in between my naps or lower based on my wireless thermometers.

No experience with those, but I do really like the WiFi on my recteq. Don’t think I needed it, but now that I have it, it’s super nice.

I have the PB 850dx from Lowes. The wifi has never given me issues over 10+ cooks over the summer. Relied on it a lot. Very convenient to be able to check on it while out or in bed

I have a 820 Sportsman and love NOT having wifi. 🤪

You get what you pay for so being cheap is not something I’d do with a grill

The WiFi sucks tbh, I tried smoking during superbowl and the app wouldn’t connect. Pretty stupid that they need to contact the server before usage

I have the austin xl without wifi and love it. The grilling feature is amazing for reverse searing a smoked steak. Never had a bad smoke on it yet, but pellets make a difference. I only use bear mountain

Neither. Pitboss products are awful quality.
