When I see a cut of meat in any film or movie or even youtube at this point in my life.
Also seeing fluted knives more and more often.

The best work knives that are dual purpose were the ones I used at a butchery.
The long ones were soft enough to not break in combat and the small ones can cause serious damage. All of them also had anti slip handles which I think is also a contributing factor.
Would I dual use my own Japanese steel? Never lol

You would think the slasher films would be a good sell for CCK cleavers!

I started watching horror flicks around 8. I started working with a butcher at 12. My dad didn’t like to watch stabby movies with me after that.
Now that I think about it I ruined so many movies by saying “that blade couldn’t do that” or ” what was that noise supposed to be?” and then explain why it wouldn’t.

This brings me so much joy.

i was like this as a painter. every tv show has some terrible mud texture and every takeout joint I visit obviously paid their blind alcoholic cousin to paint with the abandoned premade order assortment of colors from home depot.

Like when murders cut up their victims- Terrible choice of cuts! Why use a cleaver- a sharp knife would be much smoother!

I love’ em but those aren’t the knives for primal break down.
