If there is one recipe I wish I had tried earlier is this lamokuba. It was just packed with flavors even though made with some simple spices. One bite of this lamokuba and I was hooked. To make this we’re going to start sauteing our onion with whole spices. And then we’re going to add in our lamb along with some tomato paste and ground spices for which I use salt, turmeric, black pepper and allspice. Cook it for 7 to 8 minutes. Then add in water and pressure cook for another 20 minutes. Meanwhile, I’m going to go ahead and chop my veggies and fry these veggies with a little bit of oil from both sides. My lamb was done, so I strained the broth and also separated the lamb. It is time to layer in all of our veggies and also add in our soaked and washed rice. Press it down a little and then add in our broth, making sure we are not disturbing the layers. Now, we’re going to cook it on high heat until most of the water will evaporate. And when it reaches this point, we are going to start steaming it and steam for 15 to 20 minutes. We’re going to rest it for another 20 minutes before flipping it over.
