Miami’s dining scene thrives this fall, with November’s most-booked OpenTable reservations highlighting Miami’s love for al fresco dining, pasta, steaks, and waterfront views. Once again, Coconut Grove dominates with beloved favorites like Koko by Bakan, where a meticulous kitchen and distinctive cocktails keep the tables full, while Chop Steakhouse aims to keep its diners coming back for more. On the water, Bayshore Club Bar & Grill welcomes crowds with seafood, cocktails, and Instagram-worthy views, earning its spot on the list as one of the city’s top reservations.

Several restaurants in the neighboring Coral Gables were among the city’s most coveted reservations, with meat-forward classics like Fogo de Chão joining the list in November, while Perry’s continued as a mainstay on the list, with its signature pork chop and comforting ambiance. Other favorites include Zucca and Luca Osteria, where diners return for palate-pleasing drinks and reimagined Italian classics.

As the holidays approach, life can feel overwhelming. Perhaps sitting along the River for some me-time at Elia is the reset your mind (and stomach) needs. Or possibly it means ditching the cookbook one evening and, instead of ordering in, heading to Cafe La Trova for live music and invigorating flavors. Whether making reservations for an office holiday celebration, birthday, date, or simply to catch up with friends, Miami cuisine continues to provide a reason to create memories, with menus and ambiance that generate buzz in the city and beyond.

Koko by Bakan has been on every most-booked list so far

Koko by Bakan

Koko tops the list once again, firmly holding onto its status as Coconut Grove’s mezcal-soaked darling. The space leans fully, joyfully Mexican, from more than 400 mezcals behind the bar to the open kitchen where tortillas are nixtamalized daily using organic corn straight from Mexico. Its 6,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor layout feels like its own little world, equal parts lively, transportive, and unmistakably Grove. With thoughtful cocktails, high-quality ingredients, and an ambiance that pulls you in, Koko continues to enchant everyone who walks through its doors. 2856 Tigertail Ave., Coconut Grove; 305-349-3909; kokobybakan.com.

Bayshore Club Bar & Grill

Deeply rooted in nostalgia and celebrating the transportation industry (with a view), Coconut Grove’s Bayshore Club embodies adventure and tranquility at the same time. As suggested by its name, the seaside bar and grill offers waterfront cocktails and dishes, making this a lively spot for lunch, happy hour, and dinner. Historically, the first continental naval air station, which later became a Pan Am base, now offers guests $2 Oysters on Mondays, a lively brunch, and a wide selection of fresh dishes. Travelers once enjoyed the view with pre-flight refreshments. 3391 Pan American Dr., Coconut Grove; 305-392-0811; bayshoreclubmiami.com.

Perry’s is one of the most booked spots

Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille

The Perry family in Houston, Texas, opened Perry’s Butcher Shop in 1979 and has since evolved into a chain of steakhouses across the US, with locations in various cities. Deeply rooted in tradition, they remain true to their core value: “Rare and well done every time.” The dining experience extends beyond prime USDA-aged steaks and a reliable service experience. Many would argue that Perry’s offers one of the best pork chops in town, with it keeping customers booking reservations time and time again. Aside from their “Three-Course for $49 Pork Chop Sunday Supper Special,” Perry’s offers special menus for seniors, military personnel, first responders, and happy hour. Plus, it’s the perfect neighborhood spot after a family shopping trip at Merrick Park. 4251 Salzedo St., Coral Gables; 786-703-9094; perryssteakhouse.com.
