Inside is a little cracked and dirty. Outside looks good. Got a lot to learn. Going to try making chicken wings today. I never even considered buying one but for $100 I’ll do almost anything

  1. For $100 you did really well. I would rotate the BGE in the base so that it is facing the “side” of the base instead of a leg sticking straight toward you.

Recently purchased mine too. Have a Yoder pellet grill also.

The egg has been more fun to use.

I paid $120 for mine 20 years ago. Worth every penny.

Good impulse! Now shift the egg so the vent isn’t blocked by the nest.

    What is cracked inside?

great find. i’d suggest sweeping up the leaves though. they drop small coals into the base by the vent and could possibly eject onto the ground. dunno if you have the mesh screen or not

Have the same setup…Egg next to a Weber Spirit. They work well together.

Sweet. You only need 2 more things. A traeger and a gozney arc and you will be complete.

What a coincidence. Saw the very same big green egg on Reddit a few days ago

That’s not an impulse, you robbed someone lol

I initially thought you were referring to the nest. Great deal!

Awesome deal! Tip on the wings: try to cook them as dry as possible (as in very little moisture on the surface) and cook them in a circle away from the center. I do mine direct with a fruit wood like cherry or apple. Turn them often and you should end up with nice crispy skin. Toss in a bowl with your favorite sauce and bam, you just made restaurant quality wings! [wing a dings](https://imgur.com/a/NQq6HCL)

Steal. I have same size and nest, would only sell for min 350. Whats the topper you got there?

Carefully (with a helper) rotate it so it sits in the base where the bottom vent area isn’t covered by that base arm.

Absolute score for the price, especially if it isn’t cracked. You’ll love it once you figure out how to dial in your cooks
