Picked up these 2 choice steaks. Right side is a strip, other is a ribeye

Meat itself seems a little darker than what I’m used to if I’m honest, but hey, I’ll sear these right up 🙂

    How did I do in terms of choosing these steaks?💀 about $12 for the ribeye and $10 for the strip, choice grade

    And is the darker red color of the meat normal? Typically I’d see them more lighter red than this. My bad yall 🤣

    They look pretty damn nice, great marbling, little more trimmed around the edges than I prefer but the marbling makes up for that. I would say those are both strip though, hell they look like they’re from the same loin maybe even right next to each other

    I usually cook my steaks before eating them. But to each their own.
