It’s been a little tricky to get them right but these ones were great so just wanted to share. Dried out about 3lbs of drums and flats in the fridge for 5 hours. Tossed them in a little avocado oil and potato starch before cooking. Set my konnected joe to 400* (analog thermometer low in the dome reads about 350) and turned them for 40 min. Then opened the lid and let the coals rip to crisp them up for about 10min. Pulled and immediately brushed with a little butter and dusted them with Kosmos Buffalo Wing Dust. Tossed a few in franks red hot too. Perfect crisp on the outside! Would just like to get a little more flavor inside the meat next time.

Yum
I’d eat that!
Does the oem basket fit in the Konnected? I thought I saw Smoking Dad say it’s not a great fit? Appreciate the tips nonetheless!
These looks great. Last time I did them with success I used baking powder and the salt/pepper/garlic powder mix. Perfect crispy skin, tender. Lightly smoky and fall off the bone. Then did a variety of flavours. Got rave reviews. Used the napoleon basket and Joetisserie on a classic 2.
