Taxim – Greek in Wicker Park

I looked for past posts about Taxim and did not see any. Recently went to Den Theatre and wanted to try something different along Milwaukee Ave. Chose Taxim and was not disappointed.

Highlights –

Octopus with fennel – we ordered a second plate it was that good

Okra with sun-dried tomatoes – surprise deliciousness when we were just wanting more veg

Pita – seriously didn't realize pita could be so fluffy! Waiter said it's made to order and it shows!

We tried other dishes, none worth noting, but none took away from the experience. We definitely want to return and try new things, plus get the octopus again!
