Is this BBQ Sauce recipe safe for canning?

The first ingredient, Cowboy Candy syrup, is the leftover syrup from making candied jalapenos. It was made with 3 cups of white vinegar and 5 cups of white sugar.

TikTok recipes are pretty much never safe. Safe canning recipes need to be tested in a laboratory setting to ensure that they will be safe as a shelf stable product. If you want to make this sauce I would recommend freezing it for long term storage, or making only what you will use in a few days and keeping it in the fridge.

Seems like something that would be better off frozen or in the fridge

TikTok is full of rebel canners who don’t believe in food safety or germ theory.
