The Adobe at Three Sticks Wines in Sonoma, California, provided a stunning backdrop for a truly memorable Punahou alumni gathering on Saturday, Nov. 15. Nestled in the heart of wine country, the historic Adobe created a warm, inviting atmosphere where more than 60 alumni and friends came together to enjoy an evening filled with fine wines, delicious food, and lively conversation.
The event beautifully showcased the breadth and spirit of the Punahou alumni ‘ohana. Attendees spanned generations, reflecting the bonds that connect Punahou graduates across time and distance. We were especially honored to welcome Mary Bell Fox ’54 Blackstone, daughter of former Punahou President John Fox, whose presence offered a meaningful link to the school’s history. Equally exciting was the participation of recent graduates, including a member of the Class of 2020. From heartfelt reunions to new friendships formed over shared stories and vintages, the afternoon was filled with warmth, laughter, and genuine connection.
The energy and enthusiasm from the evening have set an inspiring tone for what’s ahead—most notably, the PAA Northern California’s annual lū‘au on April 12, 2026. This upcoming celebration holds special significance as it also marks the 100th anniversary of the Alumni Lū‘au. A heartfelt mahalo goes to Trustee Bill Price ’74, owner of Three Sticks Wines, whose generosity and hospitality made this event possible.
